Setting Realistic Goals For Your Weight Loss and Fitness Goals

When setting goals based on weight loss or fitness it may seem easy. And, having goals and setting goals for your self is always a great start and a good way to stay motivated. Peoples goals normally consist on a date and how they want to look or how much weight the want to lose. These are great goals but only some of us may achieve these goals with the right determination and consistency of whatever they may be doing to get there.

But, a lot of us set unrealistic goals. Unrealistic goals such as, a weight we will never make it to, a size that is not appropriate for our body types, losing weight to fast, or shaping our bodies to fast.

Unrealistic goals are a big reason why people never make it to be happy with there weight, shape, and size. Unrealistic goals can be a bad factor and leaving people disappointed. And, unhealthy depending on how they choose to get there.

Now, you have to look at the big picture. Which is you, your body, and your current health. You want to look great and feel healthy! So how are you going to get there. You going to set goals, but your going to set realistic goals, that will turn into long term goals. Goals like I want to drop a drop size and i will get there no matter how long it would take. Setting a weight for a certain date is unrealistic.

But if you set a weight that you want to make it to and turn it into a a goal as just getting to that weight without the date. It turns into a long term goal and you wont be left with any disappointment.

Every pound will be an achievement.

People also tend to want to look like someone else, and have the same body, weight, and shape as others, maybe someone famous. Setting goals to look or get appearance of someone else is really unrealistic and setting yourself up for disappointment. Your body is your temple, it is yours and unique in it's own way. Along with everyone else bodies. And, it being yours and no one else is part of the big picture you should set goals to your own personal needs.

Goals are great and you must set them! But setting them for real results you got to look at the big picture. And, the big picture is your body and it's health, and where it will be at the point you want it but still being healthy and realistic. No matter how you try to achieve these goals, or whatever kind of goals they may be, fitness or weight. As long as they are realistic you will achieve them.
