By Felicity ThistlethwaiteThe 51-year-old Bollywood actor recently revealed his impressive torso after first gaining weight for a role in Dangal and then losing the fat again.
The star went from 97 kg - having eaten a diet heavy in fat to gain the paunch - to an impressively toned gym buff with rippling abs, arms and just 9 per cent body fat.
Khan gained and lost the weight to portray the different life stages of Mahavir Phogat, a former Haryanvi wrestler, on whose life movie Dangal is based.

alking about his impressive transformation, the actor said: 'This (Dangal) was one of the most dramatic body transformations so far."
Speaking to the Hindustan Times, he said: "The film has two phases. For one part, I had to put on weight. So, I weighed 96 kgs with 38% body fat.
"I had to reduce to 9% body fat within five months. That was a huge task."

To lose weight Aamir Khan stuck to fruit, a semolina-style porridge and protein shakes.

Khan's incredible transformation will be available for everyone to witness when Dangal, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, is released on 23 December.
