I know it's hard we all have busy, hectic lives, maybe you have
Kids or a fantastic career or even both, but the truth is that that
should not come at the expense of your health! Now there is one
hideously unfair fact about life and that is that the select few get
blessed with the gift of a high metabolism.....Unfair much! They can sit
there stuffing their face with all your favorite foods and still fit
into their jeans whilst you're stuck staring at your measly salad
feeling pretty damn fed up!
O.k. but don't worry because there is always a turning point we all have one because the fact of the matter is that there is only so long we can keep blaming our weight on our metabolism or our genes or lifestyle-one day you run out of excuses and confidence.
Then there is the cliché phrase that we all spurt out to people who ask us - 'No, I like being this weight, I'm happy being the funny chubby one.' But the times that I have said or heard this never have rung true because although we don't admit it to others or ourselves, secretly we would love to be slimmer, to hear people say 'oh, she looks great.' and to try on nice clothes and not have to worry that they might just look stupid on us. We want to shock people with how good we could look and to have a better self-esteem.
Of course there are the simple cures which everyone talks about i.e. eat healthily and exercise everyday and I totally agree with this advice but we all know it already. So what do you do when the right lifestyle is simply not enough to get the results you crave?
