How Exercise Can Be a Healthy Part of Weight Loss

Finding the time for exercise is important in any weight loss program but is it worth all the work? Questions like this are something that I get asked a lot, and the answer is always the same, "yes and here is why". I have probably repeated that statement 100 times. People are always trying to reinvent the wheel or their looking for short cuts. The fact is there are none. Exercise needs to be included in any weight loss plan because It provides a balance within the body that is critical. When you loose weight your body goes though a process of change. This change is caused from the body configuring where It will give up this extra fatty tissue. Everyone will loose weight In different part of their body.

Exercise helps to rebuild this lost tissue into lean muscle. This lean muscle is needed for things like.
  • Absorbing and storing nutrients.
  • Rebuilding physical body structure
  • Protecting bone structure
  • Creating a metabolism system that will help to maintain the weight loss
It has been proven that exercise rebuilds muscle, and this new muscle will consume more calories than the older weak fatty muscle tissue. So when the new lean muscle is developed, It will consume more calories than the old weaker muscle, resulting in the body using more calories and you should loose weight.

Now this only works to loose weight when It is applied with a diet that introduces the correct calorie intake. The system then works as a more productive unit, let me explain briefly.

muscle will absorb calories and these calories are then used by the body as needed or better put, as your system triggers the need. If your metabolism is low from lack of exercise, then the body or muscle tissue will absorb more of these calories than it uses. So the muscle tissue retains these calories turning them into what is called stored fat.

Now when you introduce exercise to the muscle several things will start to happen.
  • The old fatty tissue will change into more lean muscle
  • This new muscle will use more calories than the older weaker muscle
  • Your metabolism will increase and help in creating energy
Now I am not going into It here but this would be when the correct diet would assist in the continued weight loss. You would have a recommended or predetermined amount of weight loss in mind, and then balance It with the correct calorie intake, and this would help in continued weight loss and maintaining that loss.

Understanding this process is very important when starting any weight loss program.

Exercise should and will be a major help in losing and maintaining weigh loss. But remember that It is just as important to know what your limits are and how to determine these important ratios.

Once you have the system set up for your particular needs, then you will only need to apply the system in-order for It to work.

Factors to remember are you need to loose weight in a healthy way that is geared toward your individual requirements. Loosing weight does not have to be extreme or hard when done correctly.

What makes weight loss hard is going about It in the wrong way or using a system that is designed for someone else.

Most of all make It interesting, the more you learn and know about your weight the more It will all make sense and you will find greater results. Making weight loss fun and interesting will help in sticking with your program.
